The REACH summer scholarships are open to Suffern High School freshmen, sophomore’s, and juniors each year. We award up to $1,000 to fund summer activities that reflect our mission of Expanding Academic or Community Horizons.
Summer scholarships are awarded to Suffern High School students who wish to pursue a summer program that develops leadership skills, excellence in academic or artistic areas and/or provides community service. REACH is looking to support students who display leadership, initiative, creativity, and personal growth. Additional consideration will be given to students who have overcome significant obstacles.
Summer Programs are evaluated in terms of the degree to which they will develop or deliver leadership skills, community service, academic and/or creative excellence.
Submissions for a summer scholarship are accepted via e-mail or through a Ramapo Central School Guidance Counselor.
