EXECUTIVE BOARD
Marci Linke, Founder & Chairman
Marci Linke founded REACH in 1998 and has continually served as Chairman. Marci has been a member of the Ramapo Central School Board since 1998, serving as President from 2004 to 2007. Marci has been a member of the Rockland County School Board Association since 1999 and served as President from 2006 to 2008. She is also a member of the Suffern Junior Women’s Club. She has two children, one in high school and one in college. She works with her husband Rob in their privately owned company.
Susan Wickes, Vice President
Susan Wickes is an experienced, certified art teacher. As a wife and mother of two, her time is currently spent raising her children, making pottery, substitute teaching and volunteering for the REACH Foundation. Her work on the REACH Foundation has included, Vice President, Recording Secretary, Co-Chair of the Fundraising Committee and Chairperson of Public Relations.
Melanie Glassman, Secretary
Melanie Glassman, board member since 2001, holds an MS in Occupational Therapy from Columbia University’s College of Physician and Surgeons, BA in Psychology from Stony Brook University. Currently she is a stay at home mother of 4 Ramapo Central students. Married more than 15 years to Charles Glassman, MD. She is an accomplished martial artist, community activist, enjoys tennis, health and fitness, writing, cherishes time with family. Melanie is proud to serve on REACH board due to her belief in promoting academic excellence via innovative programs for all students, and community.
Bill Hart, Interim Treasurer
Bill has been a resident of Suffern for more than 20 years. He has worked in various capacities for multi-national corporations such as auditor, accounting manager, and comptroller for over 27 years. After ending his service in the business community he attended the French
Culinary Institute and subsequently worked in a three star restaurant for 1.5 years. Currently he is a stay at home dad who has been active in the PTA and Junior Achievement for the past several years, He has also coached neighborhood kids in softball, soccer and basketball for several years. He is married to Carol Fazio Hart and has a daughter in elementary school.
TRUSTEES
Buffy Aronstein
Buffy is a native resident of Suffern. She has two children the Ramapo Central school. She holds a Masters in Speech-Language Pathology and is an active board member of the Viola PTA. Buffy co-chairs the silent auction/prize committee for the REACH Fall fundraisers.
Dr. Stephen M. Bicchieri
Administrator, clinician, educator and research scientist for special needs children. Doctorate in Developmental Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University. Presently resides in Airmont, with his wife Barbara, a teacher with the New York City Department of Education, and daughter Taylor, who attends Suffern High School.
Jeanine Cerbona
Jeanine is a native resident of Suffern who attended Cherry Lane Elementary school. She has taught at Connor Elementary and is current a teacher at Viola Elementary. Jeanine joined REACH because she enjoys working with people in the local schools and community.
Renee Dawson
Renee has been a resident of Suffern since 2002 and has been working at Viola Elementary since that time. Renee joined REACH because she wanted to bridge the gap between school and community.
Michele Finley
Michele Finley is a long time resident of Ramapo. Michele is a community activist and gets involved in many aspects of public service. Michele is a licensed Real Estate Agent serving Rockland County and is also a RN/Licensed Massage Therapist.
Ellen Jaffee*
New York State Assemblywoman, Ellen Jaffee, an original member of REACH, has a distinguished record of public service, community activism and political leadership. Ellen has served as Legislator from 1998 to 2006 and Suffern Village Trustee, from 1995 – 1997. She is a retired Educational Consultant and Resource Room teacher. Ellen and her husband Steve are parents of Marc, and his wife Julia, and Allison, and her husband Steve, and proud grandparents of three grandchildren.
Marie Krimsky
Marie has been a resident of Suffern since 2000, originally from Queens, New York. She has a daughter who attends Suffern High School. Marie is a Suffern Middle School 6th grade inclusion teacher. Marie wants to “give back” to the community she has come to love by helping out wherever she can be of assistance.
Ronald Levine
Ron Levine is an ex-official member/co-founder of REACH. Ron is also an active member of the New York Press Club. He presently serves as Director of Communications for Senator Thomas P. Morahan. Prior to that he served as a School District Administrator with NYC Public Schools. He retired in that capacity, after 36 years of active service as teacher, assistant principal and as a special assistant to a Superintendent.
Dr. Robert MacNaughton*
Rob MacNaughton has been Superintendent of the Ramapo Central School District since 1998. He has been involved with the REACH Foundation since its inception and works as a liaison in connecting school and foundation programs.
Rosy McCann
Rosy McCann has been a resident of Suffern/Montebello since 1993. She has been an active member of the PTA for 10 years and is mother of 2 boys in Ramapo Central school district. Rosy works on the fundraising and amphitheater/paver committees on the REACH Foundation. Rosy also chairs the annual Fun Run event. Aside from her volunteer work, she works as a personal trainer.
Brian W. Muni, MA, OTR/L
Brian Muni is an Occupational Therapist with over a dozen years experience assisting children and adults with their performance of academic, vocational and life skills. Currently, his practice specializes in working with children with learning disabilities, developmental delays, autism, sensory and behavioral concerns. Brian brings a unique arts background as a celebrated songwriter and musician. The founder and executive director of Theraplay Developmental Resources, LLC, Brian is a graduate of Brown and New York Universities.
Deborah Seidman-Munitz
Deborah (Deb) Seidman has lived in Suffern with her husband Richard Munitz since 1993. She has 3 boys who attend Ramapo Central schools. Deb ended her 17 year Manhattan working experience to run her online driver education web site our of her home to spend more time with her kids and to participate in community projects including the REACH Foundation. Deb has been a PTA member for 6 years and is politically active in the community as well.
Robin Steinman
Robin Steinman has 2 children in the Ramapo Central School district and one in college. She is married to Benj Steinman. She worked for American Express for 15 years in Marketing and Product Development, and currently does projects for Beer Marketer’s INSIGHTS on a part-time basis. Robin holds an M.B.A. from NYU Stern School of Business, and a B.A. in Government and Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia.
