EXECUTIVE BOARD
Rosy McCann, President
Rosy McCann has been on the Board of Directors for the REACH Foundation since 2005 and is founder and race director of the REACH Fun Run event. She is excited to continue to grow the organization and provide valuable programs for our schools and community. Rosy has been a resident of Suffern and Montebello since 1993. She has been married for over 22 years to Brian McCann and they have two children that are proud students of the Ramapo Central School District. One is a high school sophomore and the other is attending Cornell University. From 1987 to 2000, Rosy was the owner and manager of an event and party planning business servicing family and corporate clients, with offices in Rockland and Bergen Counties. Currently, Rosy is a certified personal trainer and holistic nutrition consultant. She is an avid runner, and enjoys tennis, reading, yoga and hiking.
Bill Hart, Vice President
Bill has been a resident of Suffern for more than 20 years. He has worked in various capacities for multi-national corporations such as auditor, accounting manager, and comptroller for over 27 years. After ending his service in the business community he attended the French Culinary Institute and subsequently worked in a three star restaurant for 1.5 years. Currently he is a stay at home dad who has been active in the PTA and Junior Achievement for the past several years, He has also coached neighborhood kids in softball, soccer and basketball for several years. He is married to Carol Fazio Hart and has a daughter is in middle school.
Melanie Glassman, Secretary
Melanie has been an active board member since 2001, holds an MS in Occupational Therapy, and a BA in Psychology. She has worked in Neurological Rehabilitation at hospitals in NYC as well as Helen Hayes Hospital, West Haverstraw. Currently she is a stay at home mother of 4 Ramapo Central students. She is active in PTA, and the local community, enjoys tennis, yoga, writing, and cherishes time with her family. Melanie chairs REACH’s annual Dinner and Game Night event held in February at The Nyack Seaport. She serves on many committees including Grants, Recycling, Evening of Excellence, and Fun Run.
Deena Goldstein, Treasurer
Deena has been a resident of Montebello since 2000. She holds a BS in accounting from SUNY Albany. She worked as an Auditor and then a Controller for 8 years. Currently, Deena is a stay at home mom of three children ages, 9, 7 and 4 that keep her busy. She enjoys running, playing tennis and spending time with her family. Deena has been an active member of the REACH Foundation Fun Run committee for the past four years. She is excited to be more involved in the Reach Foundation as an executive member of the Board of Directors.
TRUSTEES
Andrea De Luca
Andrea De Luca has been a resident of the Ramapo Central School District since 1994 with her husband Robert. Her two children attend Suffern Middle School. She has held various positions with the Montebello PTA and Suffern Middle School PTA over the past 8 years. Currently, she is a Realtor with Better Homes & Gardens Rand Realty serving Rockland and Orange Counties. Previously Andrea enjoyed a great career employed with American Express, Yves Saint Laurent, and Clarins Cosmetics. She enjoys being an active member of the community and school district.
Jill Gold
Jill resides in Montebello with her husband Lew and is the proud parent of two daughters in Montebello Elementary School. Jill holds a JD and is currently the Contracts Manager in the Office of Technology Transfer at New York University. She enjoys spending time with her family as well as coaching softball. Jill joined the board this year and has brought an innovative recycling program to our community to help our fundraising efforts.
Marie Krimsky
Marie has been a resident of Suffern since 2000, originally from Queens, New York. She has a daughter who attends Oneonta College. Marie is a Suffern Middle School 7th grade collaborative (special education) co-teacher. Marie wants to “give back” to the community she has come to love by helping out wherever she can be of assistance.
Dr. Douglas Adams*
Douglas Adams is the Superintendent of the Ramapo Central School District. He works with the REACH Foundation as a liaison in connecting school and foundation programs.
Ronni Seif
Ronni Seif moved to Suffern over ten years ago with her husband David from NYC to start a family. Now with two children attending Ramapo Central schools, she is thrilled to participate with a group that provides such outstanding support via grants, scholarships and programming within the district that her children attend. Prior to participating in enough car pools to attain gold motherhood status, Ronni worked with numerous Broadway productions including Beauty and the Beast, Rent, Hairspray, and Mamma Mia! as a marketing and promotions executive.
Abbe Simon
Abbe has been a resident of Suffern since 2004. She is married with 2 children one attends Cherry Lane School. She has been active in PTA since her first child entered kindergarten. When first learning about REACH, she was impressed by all that it had done for the children of our district, so became a volunteer. She is excited to be contributing to REACH as a new board member this year. Abbe is a Speech Language Pathologist and has a passion for helping others. When she is not working or volunteering she enjoys fitness, especially yoga.
Robin Steinman
Robin Steinman has one child in the Ramapo Central School district and two in college. She is married to Benj Steinman. She worked for American Express for 15 years in Marketing and Product Development, and currently works part-time both for Beer Marketer’s INSIGHTS and as a yoga instructor. Robin holds an M.B.A. from NYU Stern School of Business, and a B.A. in Government and Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia. Robin chairs our summer scholarship and our teacher grant committees and has been on the board for over 8 years.
