The REACH Foundation of Rockland, Inc. is led by an independent all-volunteer Board of Directors. Our Board members are drawn from the community and provide diverse representation. Board members are community members who share a deep commitment to public education in the Suffern Central School District.
Ronni Seif, President
Ronni volunteered to distribute apples and bananas at the REACH Fun Run six years ago, since then she has participated in the Grant, Scholarship and Event Committees, was Vice President and became President of REACH in June of 2015. She’s excited about the new programs – STEAM Expo and Tunes & Trucks – REACH is developing to continue funding grants and scholarships to the RCSD. Ronni put her BA in English from SUNY Albany to use as a marketing executive specializing in Broadway and had the pleasure of working on Rent, Mamma Mia!, Beauty and the Beast and many other hits. These days her favorite entertainment is provided by her husband and two children at home in Montebello.
Deena Goldstein, Vice President
Deena has been a resident of Montebello since 2000. She holds a BS in accounting from SUNY Albany. She worked as an Auditor and then a Controller for 8 years. Currently, Deena is a stay at home mom of three children ages, 14, 12 and 9 that keep her busy. She enjoys running, playing tennis and spending time with her family. Deena has been the Treasurer of the Reach Foundation for the past five years and before that served on the Fun Run Committee for four years. She is excited to be serving the foundation as the Vice President.
Monica Levy, Secretary
Monica Levy has been a resident of Montebello since 2001. She and her husband, Stephen, have been married for 15 years and have a three year old daughter, Alison. Monica has served on the Reach Foundation Fun Run Committee for the past 7 years. She is an avid tennis player and enjoys spending time with her family. Currently, Monica is a stay-at-home mom and would be honored to become more involved in the Reach Foundation. Monica attended Adelphi University and, for 12 years, was the Assistant to the Branch Manager at Gruntal and Company financial services. She also worked as a Trader’s Assistant at Lehman Brothers.
Roni Silver, Treasurer
Roni has been a resident of Airmont since 2003 with her husband, Andrew. She has two sons and a daughter. Her sons attend Cherry Lane. She holds a BS in accounting from Binghamton University. She is a CPA and is currently working as the Director of the Management Company of a hedge fund located in Tarrytown. She enjoys exercising, reading, traveling, watching football and baseball and spending time with her family. She has been active in the Reach Foundation since 2012.
Sarah Birenbach and her husband have been residents of Suffern since 2008. She is originally from Bergen County, NJ. She has one daughter, Charlotte. Her daughter is currently attending Viola Elementary School. Sarah graduated from Montclair State University. She enjoys exercising, reading and spending time with her family. Sarah is looking forward to supporting the community. She is excited to participate in the great programs that the REACH foundation offers.
Faith has been a resident of the Ramapo Central School District since 2009. She and her husband Scott have three children ages 6, 4, and 2. Faith has been a Spanish and ENL (English as a New Language) teacher in our district since 1999 and has taught at Viola, Cherry Lane, Montebello and Suffern Middle School. She is excited to join the REACH Foundation this year to give back to the organization that has supported so many students and teachers in our schools for so many years. Faith currently chairs our Brick Paver Committee.
Denise Eisberg is a graduate of Suffern High School class of ’89. Realizing the value of community and the importance of our schools inspired Denise to join the Reach Foundation Board in 2013. Denise and her husband Joe are raising their four children through the Ramapo Central School district. Denise holds an accounting degree from Ramapo College of NJ and is currently employed as an assistant controller. She spends much of her spare time in her family’s printing business. Denise is an active member of RP Connor PTA and looks forward to dedicating more time to the Reach Foundation.
Melanie has been a board member since 2001. She has held Executive Board positions of Vice President, and most recently, Secretary. She has a BA in Psychology, and an MS in Occupational Therapy, and has worked in Rehabilitation Medicine at hospitals in NYC, and Helen Hayes Hospital in West Haverstraw, NY. Together with her husband Charlie, they have raised four children in the school district. She has chaired and been a committee member for many events including annual dinner dances, adut game nights, Evening of Excellence, Fun Run, Grants, and Scholarships. She is excited for the future of REACH and its infusion of new board members, with new ideas, personal and professional assets.
A 17-year resident of Suffern, Denise Kane is thrilled to join the REACH Foundation Board. She and her husband, Larry, have two sons who attend Suffern High School, and participate in a variety of the sports and music programs offered there. For the past 12 years, Denise has been an active member of the RP Connor School community, running play groups, after-school programs and homework clubs. She was the Director of RP Connor’s Family Resource Center from 2009 – 2013. Denise is looking forward to working on the many fundraising activities of the REACH Foundation and supporting Ramapo Central’s schools and students with grants and scholarships.
Gloria Krantz has been a resident of Montebello since 2010 with her husband, Sam, and their two children; 6 and 3 years old. Gloria earned a Juris Doctor degree from Brooklyn Law School in 2002 and worked as a litigation attorney at a law firm in Manhattan for six years. Gloria also holds a BA degree in Spanish and International Studies from Colby College. Currently, she and her husband are Partners in their law firm, Krantz & Krantz, LLP, specializing in Immigration and Nationality Law. Gloria is presently taking a break from the practice of law to raise their two children. Gloria is also an avid figure skater who competed in state, regional and sectional competitions. This is Gloria’s second year on the Executive Board of REACH and she is the Chair of the REACH Grant Committee. She is committed to taking an active role in the Ramapo Central school district and in our community.
Jessica has been a resident of Montebello since 2003. She lives there with her husband and three boys, two of which are enrolled at Montebello Elementary. She holds a BS in marketing from Indiana University and a MS Ed in Elementary Education from Hunter College. Jessica began her career in public relations until realizing her adoration for education. She is currently a writing consultant and tutor for students grades K-12 and teaches 7th and 8th grade language arts in Old Tappan. Jessica has been involved with REACH since 2011 and is excited to be the co-chair for the REACH STEAM Expo.
